The Development Education Centre
In summer 2004, the Development Education Centre (Hull) moved
to the upstairs rooms of the Waltham Street Chapel (Methodist Central Hall).
Literally above the One World Shop.
The formal opening of the centre took place in October 2004
and was marked with a showcase event for both schools and churches.
Go to
DEC (Hull) for more information.
These two significant activities, the One World Shop,
and the Development Education Centre have great synergy
whilst being complementary in many aspects of their activities and output.
The real fruits of this co-location will be born out over time.
