Global Journey, 21st April 2007

Hull One World Shop is organising the Global Journey event for Hull.

The global journey is the biggest act of solidarity by Fair Trade organisations all over the globe.
The journey of the banner showing the started in Mumbai, India, in 2004. Here the banner is arriving at Asha, One of the suppliers of carved wood to Hull One Word Shop.

The journey will (officially) finish in Brussels on May 12th.

Our plan is to march with the banner from Hull One World Shop to Mandela Gardens, where the set speech will be read. The Lord Mayor of Hull will receive the banner on behalf of the City.
